Process
Victoria approaches each new project with a fresh perspective, determining her clients’ preferences, requirements, goals and restraints. During the Design Concept Phase, she conducts an initial design study taking into account existing elevations, floor plans and architectural details. The initial design concept is presented to the client with fabrics, window treatment designs, and furniture and color selections. This interactive process is fun for Victoria and the client, allowing them to experiment with the options and create the perfect space. After developing the project schedule, Victoria gets to work, consulting with the client at every turn. No changes, necessary or suggested, will be made without first discussing it with the client. Victoria’s service does not end once the project is completed. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, she educates her clients about the care and maintenance of the selected fabrics, materials, and other decorative pieces.

In Victoria’s words, the important components of each project are:

  • Balance – “Visual weight, proportion of color and furnishings”
  • Visual Rhythm – "Vvisual movement … a flow from one vignette to another”
  • Texture – “Light reflections, Rich texture and finishes, opulent”
  • Architectural details – “Good bones, structural elements, don't have to add, molding”
  • Color – “My palette is inspired by what is in front of me. I love rich colors that envelop and surround. Color is exciting and can bring you to life!”
  • Interior architecture – “You must integrate the architecture with the interior finishes.”
